Tam Vong (Dendrocalamus Strictus)
Up to 2.5” diameter, exceptionally solid lower section, thick walled throughout, highly bug resistant, extremely durable, can take screws and nails without splitting, great for furniture and structural applications
Tre Gai (Bambusa Blumenea)
2”-3 inch and 3-4 inch diameters, average 1” wall thickness at bottom and middle, extremely hard and durable, bug resistant, great for bolted connections, takes nails and screws without splitting, surface has “character” i.e. blemishes from thorns.
Finishing Options
Available with natural skin on, or sanded. We can apply sealer and finish coats according to your requirements and we provide PFAC’s documentation. Common lengths 8’, 10’, 12’ and up to 18”
Export Quality
All our bamboo is sustainably managed and harvested from family owned farms, treated with boron and borax solution, sun dried for the best golden color, shipments are fumigated and we provide all documentation including phytosanitary certificate.
Production Process
Project Assessment
In the initial phase, we will discuss the requirements for your products and evaluate potential solutions. This is the creative part of the process where we imagine what is possible with bamboo.
Design
With a full understanding of our goals we will explore the best ways to use bamboo to develop your product. Sketches, VR models, 3D models, and CAD drawings will be used to visualize and define your product’s parameters.
Prototyping, Refining
Once the design has been finalized, a sample will be made to verify proof of concept and functionality. Further refinement and samples may be required until the production sample is finalized and approved.
